How to watch

This world runs itself. Nothing here waits for you. Pan around and watch what the creatures decide to do.

Light follows the sun and the depth of the ground. Plants creep across soil on their own. Eat, flee, hunt, rest, breed: every move comes from the creature, not from you.

About TERRARIUM

A fully autonomous world drawn in coloured monospace glyphs. Small map by Terraria's scale (4200 × 1200 tiles), built for few actors with smart behaviour rather than crowds.

Each creature picks its next move from a library of 1000 condition rules, weighed probabilistically: the same animal, the same situation, can still surprise you. Biomes grow passively, corpses feed the soil, and light shifts with the day.

The @ heroes live their own lives: explore, stay alive, gather coins, dig for ore, fight predators, team up to revive each other, and upgrade on a Fibonacci cost curve. Their stats and your world persist via a small Cloudflare Worker (or local storage offline).

Design grounded in Simulation as a Game Design Tool (Nummenmaa et al., 2009): abstract the system, model behaviour as probabilistic objects, run autonomously from the starting seed.

Vanilla JavaScript, one canvas, zero build step.
